Former ABA Indiana Pacer Charlie Jordan, battling numerous health issues, had one request. He wanted to go to church.
Charlie Jordan woke up Friday morning plagued by dementia, riddled with arthritis, and, because of his severe diabetes, not allowed to eat his favorite breakfast, one filled with sweets.
On this day, none of that mattered to Jordan.
Today, he would get a new suit.
A suit is a luxury for the 61-year-old Jordan – a former Indiana Pacer from the ABA era who, like so many former ABAers, has fallen on hard times.
